Avoid inflammatory or disruptive behavior, including but not limited to spamming, trolling, or excessive negativity. Such actions hinder meaningful interactions and can create a hostile environment. Spamming includes repeatedly posting the same content or irrelevant messages, while trolling involves intentionally provoking or upsetting others. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but constant negativity without offering solutions can discourage community engagement. Let’s focus on fostering positive and productive discussions.

2. Appropriate Content

Ensure all submitted content, including messages within the Game and listings in the marketplace, is appropriate for all audiences. Content must adhere to community standards and avoid the use of explicit language, violent or graphic imagery, or any material that could be deemed offensive or harmful. Remember, our community includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds, so it’s important to maintain a standard of appropriateness that ensures a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
No profanity, vulgar language, or offensive material is allowed. All communication and content shared within the community, including messages in the Game, forum posts, and marketplace listings, must remain respectful and free from inappropriate language or imagery. This includes avoiding slurs, explicit content, or any material designed to offend or provoke others. Let’s maintain a space that is respectful and enjoyable for everyone.
No sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content is permitted. All content shared within the community, including messages, marketplace listings, and discussions, must be suitable for a general audience. This includes avoiding any material that is sexually explicit, depicts violence, or contains graphic imagery that could be disturbing or inappropriate. Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for all members is our priority.
No content promoting illegal activities, self-harm, or dangerous behaviors is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, discussions, messages, or listings that encourage unlawful actions, glorify self-injury, or advocate for reckless or hazardous practices. Such content poses a risk to the safety and well-being of our community members and undermines the positive and supportive environment we strive to maintain.
All 100-character messages submitted via codes must comply with these content rules. Messages that violate any of the aforementioned guidelines—such as containing profanity, graphic content, or promoting harmful behavior—will be removed, and the user may face penalties, including account suspension or termination. It is essential to ensure that all messages contribute positively to the game environment and adhere to community standards.

3. Honest Participation

Provide truthful and accurate information in your account and marketplace listings. Misleading, false, or deceptive information—whether in your profile, game messages, or code listings—undermines trust within the community and may result in penalties, including the removal of listings, account suspension, or other actions. Always ensure that the details you provide are clear, honest, and in line with our community standards.
Do not engage in fraudulent activities, including impersonating others, using fake accounts, or attempting to scam other users. Deceptive practices such as pretending to be someone else, creating counterfeit accounts, or tricking others into providing personal or financial information are strictly prohibited. Engaging in these activities undermines the trust within the community and can result in immediate account suspension, permanent banning, or legal action if necessary.
Ensure that all codes listed for sale in the marketplace are valid and have not been previously redeemed. Listing invalid or used codes is strictly prohibited and can result in the removal of the listing, penalties, or suspension of your account. It’s your responsibility as a seller to verify that the code you are offering is valid, unredeemed, and meets all the marketplace’s standards before listing it for sale. This ensures a fair and trustworthy experience for all users.

4. Fair Use of the Marketplace

Only list codes that belong to you or that you have the legal right to sell. Selling codes that you do not own, or that are not legally yours to distribute, is strictly prohibited. This includes codes obtained through unauthorized means or third-party sources. Violating this rule can result in the removal of your listings, penalties, and suspension of your account. Ensure you have the proper rights to the code you’re selling before listing it in the marketplace.
Avoid manipulating marketplace prices or transactions, such as engaging in artificial price inflation or collusion with other users. Actions like artificially inflating prices, creating fake listings, or coordinating with others to fix prices disrupt the integrity of the marketplace and create an unfair environment for other users. Such activities are considered unethical and will result in penalties, including the removal of listings, suspension of accounts, and possible permanent bans.
Comply with all terms related to transactions, fees, and code redemption. This includes following the proper procedures for buying, selling, and redeeming codes, as well as understanding and accepting the associated fees for each transaction. Ensure that you are familiar with the marketplace rules and obligations before engaging in any transaction. Failure to comply with these terms can result in the cancellation of transactions, removal of codes, or suspension of your account.

5. Protect Privacy

Respect the privacy of others by not sharing their personal information without consent. This includes refraining from disclosing someone’s name, email address, contact details, or any other private information in public spaces or private messages, unless given explicit permission by the individual. Violating this privacy guideline can lead to penalties, including account suspension or termination, as maintaining a safe and respectful environment is crucial for the community.
Do not attempt to access or distribute private or confidential data belonging to other users or Optume Studios. Unauthorized access to personal information, proprietary data, or any other confidential material is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or termination. Protecting the privacy and security of all users and the studio’s information is essential to maintaining trust within the community. Any attempt to breach these boundaries will be taken seriously and addressed accordingly.

6. Compliance with Laws

Follow all local, national, and international laws applicable to your use of the website, marketplace, and Game. It is your responsibility to ensure that your actions on our platform comply with the laws of the jurisdiction(s) you are operating in. This includes, but is not limited to, laws related to online transactions, intellectual property, data privacy, and consumer protection. Any illegal activities, including violations of these laws, may result in the suspension or termination of your account and potential legal consequences.
Do not post or promote content that violates any legal regulations or infringes on intellectual property rights. This includes, but is not limited to, the unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, trademarks, or any content that violates the rights of others. If you use third-party content, ensure that you have the proper permissions or licenses to do so. Violating this rule may result in the removal of the offending content, suspension of your account, and potential legal action for intellectual property infringement.

7. Reporting Violations

If you encounter any content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately to our support team at contact@optumestudios.com. We take all reports seriously and review them thoroughly. Depending on the severity of the violation, appropriate actions will be taken, which may include issuing warnings, removing offending content, or suspending the accounts of those responsible for the violation. Your reports help us maintain a safe and positive community for everyone.

8. Consequences for Violations

Violations of these guidelines may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account. The severity of the violation will determine the length of the suspension or whether permanent action is taken. Repeated offenses or serious violations, such as engaging in fraudulent activities or posting illegal content, may lead to permanent banning from the platform. Our goal is to maintain a respectful and enjoyable community, and we take violations of these guidelines very seriously.
Severe or repeated violations may lead to a permanent ban from the website, marketplace, and Game, without refunds or compensation. If your actions significantly disrupt the community or violate our guidelines in a serious manner, we reserve the right to permanently remove you from the platform. This includes, but is not limited to, illegal activities, harassment, or actions that harm other users or the integrity of the platform. Once banned, no further access will be granted, and any ongoing transactions or listings will be terminated.
Optume Studios reserves the right to remove content or terminate accounts at our discretion for any behavior deemed harmful to the community. This includes, but is not limited to, actions that disrupt the experience for other users, violate community guidelines, or pose a threat to the integrity of the website, marketplace, or Game. We aim to foster a welcoming and safe environment, and we will take appropriate action to ensure that the community remains respectful and enjoyable for all users.
